Last week I had a meeting with a representative of the AIRC. One of the items on the agenda was the problems between the CETRAA and AIRC; the CETRAA is considering leaving the AIRC. The result will be that it's going to be impossible to implement the Eurogarant Standard in Spain.
This also would affect our project...... we planned to set up our QM System based on the Eurogarant Standard, and also certificate our system on that standard.
But, after this conversation I feel we have an opening. With the volume of our project with the BASF Bodyshops we might be able to colaborate with the AIRC directly. This would be fantastic!!
On short term I will speak with the board of the AIRC about this; I'll keep you updated!!

STRUCTURE....
As mentioned earlier this week I had the meeting with mr. Armando Higueras, secretary of the CETRAA; we had a very interesting conversation about the Spanish Automotive sector.
It's very clear, there is a lot to do and with our project with the BASF organization, and we can deliver a big contribution regarding quality management in this sector. And quality management also includes environment - minded management and working conditions in the bodyshops. There are some movements of some organizations in the Spanish automotive sector (AENOR, Gremio in Alicante.....) but it needs some follow up... and that's where we enter.
In the beginning of February we will take some strategic decisions, meanwhile we continue to set up the Quality Management system for the bodyshops in the BASF organization.
I'll keep you informed.

Meeting with CETRAA
Thursday the 13th of january I have a meeting with the management of the CETRAA, the Spanish organization for bodyshops. Possibly the start of an important partnership between our project and the CETRAA.
The implementation of a structure for Spanish bodyshops, based on quality of the organization and with that the delivery of a good product, a great development for everybody!!

Quality Management Spain
From the 1rst of January STOLWIJK CONSULTANCY started a big Quality management Project in the Spanish Automotive sector; follow it on our Blog, it's going to be a revolution!
No improvement without change....!!
EQUSE (3rd of january 2011)
The foundation of our Quality Management project in Spain will be the platform of eQuse; webbased Quality Management, which creates transparency, "flexible working", communication, overview and especially..... a tool for Continuous Improvement!!
Translation of eQuse into Spanish is almost done, now we are working on the first steps of creating the eQuse structure for our project. These weeks will form the basis of a great project: Quality Management of the 21rst Century! Modern technology combinated with human skills, because at the end eQuse is "just a tool".
